So, no journal updates since April? Can't say I'm surprised, really. Wonder if that can still be considered procrastination or is it just sheer apathy? Who knows.

There's a new semester starting tomorrow (is it today? working nights tends to mess with normal day-to-day scheduling). What is this, my sixth, seventh year? I've lost count. But I will graduate, one day. It's just that working nights full-time means that one can only take a few classes during certain times of the day. And if a class you need is held at a time you can manage, you better hope it doesn't get canceled (which tends to happen to me a lot).

Not like all that matter, really. I still can't graduate without submitting a senior project, and I can't work on a senior project without a decent computer that's up to the task. And if my current situation is anything to go by, I won't be able to afford a good computer for a long while yet.

That's one thing I hate about moving, it tends to throw the finances into a tiff.






One good thing about moving into a new place that I like: I don't feel so creatively blocked. I've only been in the new place for a month or so and already I've had tons of ideas. For some of them though, I don't know if its the new place or the obscene amount of design shows I've been watching at work.

Either way, I have designs for some neat things that I just need to money to build. Yes, build. A chunky wood and metal wall shelf, a recycled wood pallet bed frame, a headboard that looks neat in my head but I can't help but wonder how practical is would be in real life, and a coffee table customization that I haven't quite settled on but know will look neat when I get around to it.





Though at the moment the only thing that seems to be updated around here is my scraps.
